The Future of Carbon Methods: Opportunities and Risks for Graziers

Colin and Sean discussed the current review of the soil method, the development of the integrated farm method, and the suspension of the herd method. They also addressed the fast-tracked avoided clearing method and the focus on soil review, emphasising the need for integrity reviews and the importance of navigating changing methods. Sean emphasised the need for consensus-based science before making any changes to the method. 

The team further explored how landholders can initiate a soil project and incorporate additional methods as they become available.
